MrBeast is the online name of Jimmy Donaldson, an American YouTuber whose channel became the most-subscribed on the platform in June 2024 and, according to profiles, passed 500 million subscribers on 12 June 2026. He now runs a group of businesses, organised under Beast Industries, including the snack brand Feastables.

The channel milestones

On 2 June 2024 his channel overtook the Indian music label T-Series, which had been the most-subscribed channel, when it reached about 267 million subscribers. Newsweek’s timeline traces his rise from small gaming and challenge videos to large-scale stunts with big cash prizes. His videos are known for scale: giveaways, challenges and constructed sets.

From videos to products

  • December 2020: MrBeast Burger launches as a delivery-only restaurant brand operating out of partner kitchens.
  • 2022: Feastables, a chocolate and snack brand, launches.
  • Beast Philanthropy: a charity channel that donates the revenue it earns.
  • Beast Industries: the umbrella company for his businesses, which Shopify’s and Newsweek’s profiles describe as a multi-billion-dollar enterprise.

Why the model is interesting

The business model reverses the usual order. Most brands buy attention from creators; MrBeast built the attention first and then launched products for that audience, using his videos as the marketing channel for them.

What we left out

We have not repeated claims about his age, family, wealth estimates or private life, because published figures vary and are not confirmed by a primary source.
