A “Blox Fruits trade scam script” is not a single piece of software. In the game’s trading communities the phrase is used for several different tricks that aim to get a player to give away fruits, items or account access. This page explains the common ones, what Roblox itself says about trading scams, and what to do if you have already been caught.

The tricks players describe
Community trading guides describe the same handful of tricks again and again. We are repeating what those guides report, we did not test any of them.
- Last-second switch. The other player shows a valuable fruit in the trade window, then swaps it for a cheaper one just before you confirm. The advice in these guides is to pause and re-read every item before accepting.
- Fake middleman. You are told a “trusted middleman” must hold the items. The guides say the middleman is often the scammer’s friend or alternate account, and that the item disappears once you hand it over.
- “Free fruit” scripts and links. A script, file or link that promises free fruits or boosts. Roblox warns separately about tools that promise free items, and anything that asks for your login or cookie can lead to account theft.
- Impersonation. A look-alike username of a well-known trader, or a profile link sent in chat that leads to a fake login page.
- Pressure. Being rushed to confirm. Every guide we read treats a hurry as a warning sign.
What Roblox says
Roblox’s help centre has an article on player trading scams. According to the text shown for that page in search results, Roblox says it cannot enforce deals made outside its official features, and so cannot return items or Robux if the other player breaks such a deal. It lists scam deals such as using a trade to pay for an account, real-world money or a group, lending out your account or items, agreeing to a deal where one person has to go first and trust the other, and giving your account or items to someone else to sell or trade for you.
Roblox’s account-safety guidance says the most common way players lose an account is by sharing login details or filling in surveys, that Roblox staff never ask for your password, and that you should only enter your password on the Roblox login page. It recommends turning on 2-Step Verification, with an authenticator app as the preferred option.
How to protect yourself
- Trade only with the in-game trade system, and read every item on both sides before you accept.
- Do not run scripts, open files or follow links from other players. A genuine script does not need your password.
- Never type your Roblox password anywhere except the Roblox login page, and switch on 2-Step Verification.
- Treat any middleman as a risk. If a deal only works through a third party, walk away.
- Check usernames character by character before trading with someone you know by name.
If you have been scammed
If you handed over items in a deal outside Roblox’s official features, Roblox says it cannot return them. If your account was accessed, Roblox has a help article on what to do after an account is hacked, which covers securing the account and contacting support. Change your password, turn on 2-Step Verification and report the user through Roblox.
