I’m Tobi Arowosegbe, also known as Tobi Holyprof — a full stack developer, WordPress developer, PHP/Laravel developer, and technical SEO specialist based in Lagos, Nigeria. This site, HolyProfWeb, is one of several projects I run; alongside the reviews and guides you’ll find elsewhere on this site, I also take on web development, WordPress fixes, and technical SEO work for real businesses.
Background
I started out training people in WordPress and digital marketing, which is a different entry point into tech than most developers take. Teaching forces you to actually understand something well enough to explain it simply, and that habit has stuck with me through seven-plus years of client work. From WordPress training, I moved into PHP, then Laravel for anything a CMS couldn’t cleanly handle, then into React and modern frontend work as client projects started needing more interactive, app-like interfaces.
Along the way I’ve worked as a Full Stack Frontend Developer at PayVessel, contributed to AsyncPay, built and maintain websites for Atlantic Exhibition, Radiant CCA Africa, Savvy Media Africa, and Kolseg Studios, and delivered freelance work for clients across Nigeria and internationally through Upwork and Fiverr.
What I do
- WordPress development — custom themes, plugins, WooCommerce stores, migrations, and ongoing maintenance. I’ve delivered 200+ websites over the years.
- PHP and Laravel systems — dashboards, booking platforms, learning management systems, and custom business logic that doesn’t fit a CMS.
- Full stack frontend development — React and Node.js, including fintech-facing product work for payment platforms where correctness and security actually matter.
- Technical SEO — site audits, indexing fixes, structured data, and Google Merchant Center troubleshooting for ecommerce stores.
- Digital marketing — campaign execution, social media growth (including scaling one page to 75K+ followers), and content strategy.
How I actually work with clients
I scope a project clearly before starting — what’s included, what it costs, and roughly how long it’ll take — instead of leaving that vague and hoping it works out. You own your domain, hosting, and code when we’re done; nothing gets held on my end. And I tell you honestly when something isn’t necessary, even if a bigger scope would earn me more, because repeat clients matter more than one inflated invoice.
