What does Travel Insurance Cover?

At Multitrip.com, cover can be provided for common travel insurance benefits, such as cover for cancellation, delayed baggage and delayed departure, as well as for over 60 sports and activities under Grade 1 as standard. Please refer to policy wording for full details of cover.

Cancellation or Curtailment
Cancellation covers irrecoverable, unused travel and accommodation costs and other pre-paid charges which you are contracted to pay while curtailment covers your reasonable additional travel expenses incurred to return to your home country as a result of an unforeseen illness, injury or bereavement.
Medical Expenses
This covers emergency medical and other expenses including dental (for pain relief only) if an insured person suffers a sudden and unforeseen bodily injury or illness or death during a trip outside the UK.
Emergency Assistance
This provides 24 hour emergency assistance in the event of a medical emergency abroad, repatriation or curtailment of your holiday.
Baggage & Personal Belongings
This provides protection against the accidental loss of, theft of or damage to baggage/personal belongings.
Personal Liability
This provides cover should you become legally liable to pay compensation for any claim or series of claims arising from accidental bodily injury to a third party or loss or damage to property that does not belong to you.
Delayed Departure
This provides cover if the scheduled public transport on which you are booked to travel is delayed at the final departure point from or to the UK for at least 12 hours.

Can an adult/child travel separately on an Annual Multitrip policy?

On an Annual Multitrip policy the named adults/spouses can travel separately/independently. Children under 16 years of age cannot travel independently. Children 16 years of age or over are covered to travel independently from their parents provided they are travelling on an organised school or college trip only and with a responsible adult aged 18 years or over.

Is multitrip travel insurance real or fake

This is in any doubt the main thing people are interested in about the platform. Multitrip travel insurance is pretty safe to go with. We give them a total rating of 85 out of 100. The main reason we removed 15% is called off is mainly because of some backlashes like not giving adequate response after getting or receiving a complaint. Initially. they take and receive calls as fast as possible but them acting on it is slower than expected.
